- Available durations
- Plans of 1, 3, 6, 9 or 12 months depending on the programme. The time needed to reach a level depends on your starting point and study schedule.
- Lesson frequency
- Online groups: 3 sessions per week. At the centre: 2-hour or 4-hour daily formats, 5 days per week, according to the catalogue and availability.
- Start date
- The next available group date is shared during orientation.
- Group size
- Online groups are limited to five learners. Other format details are confirmed before enrolment.

Published programme fees
The prices currently displayed in the ABEC catalogue are retained: online group courses start from 35,000 FCFA per month and in-person courses from 75,000 FCFA per month, depending on the programme. Duration, availability and payment arrangements are confirmed before enrolment.

Online group plans include 35,000 FCFA for one month, 85,000 FCFA for three months and 165,000 FCFA for six months. At the centre, the 2-hour daily format starts at 75,000 FCFA for one month and the intensive 4-hour daily format at 100,000 FCFA. How do I register and take the placement test?
Select ‘Take my placement test’, enter your contact details and confirm that you want to learn English. After your request is saved, you can access the test. ABEC then helps you confirm your programme and start date.
Can I start as a complete beginner?
Yes. ABEC orientation helps identify a suitable pathway, including A1 Beginner.
Is the placement test an official certificate?
No. It is an ABEC internal placement result aligned with the CEFR, not an official TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS or Duolingo English Test equivalency. If your goal is an international certificate, ABEC prepares you for the chosen test and supports you in taking it with the appropriate organiser or test centre.
