Each ABEC lesson puts you in useful situations: conversations, dialogues, listening work, presentations and activities that build confidence progressively.
- Speaking and comprehension practised in every session
- Levels: A1 Beginner, A2 Elementary, B1 Pre-Intermediate, B2 Intermediate, C1 Upper Intermediate and C2 Advanced

A pathway explained before enrolment
- Standard pathway
- Three two-hour sessions per week, totalling 72 hours over a three-month cycle when this rhythm is selected.
- Start date
- The next available group date is shared during orientation.
- Group size
- Online groups are limited to five learners. Other format details are confirmed before enrolment.
Fees & certificate
Published programme fees
The prices currently displayed in the ABEC catalogue are retained: online group courses start from 35,000 FCFA per month and in-person courses from 75,000 FCFA per month, depending on the programme. Duration, availability and payment arrangements are confirmed before enrolment.
ABEC end-of-training certificate, issued according to attendance and final assessment.

Can I start as a complete beginner?
Yes. ABEC orientation helps identify a suitable pathway, including A1 Beginner.
Is the placement test an official certificate?
No. It is an ABEC internal placement result aligned with the CEFR, not an official TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS or Duolingo English Test equivalency. If your goal is an international certificate, ABEC prepares you for the chosen test and supports you in taking it with the appropriate organiser or test centre.
Can I take the course online?
Yes. State your preferred format in the form and ABEC will confirm suitable availability.
